Criteria:

Attendees must be registered a club member;

Attained 12 years of age;

and have been graded as a Green belt.

Dress: Bring your own Judogi

The semimar will cover:

The pathways to becoming a Referee for Junior, State and National competitions;

Role and responsibilities of being a Referee;

Signals for scores and penalties;

Criteria for determining scores and penalties using scenarios;

Movement and voice projection on the mat;

Use of the Play Review System and radio comms

and attendance to upcoming competitions

If there are clubs whom cannot attend the seminar, a date will have to be worked with the Referee Commission.
